My film's nun now draws inspiration from not only Tove Jansson, Sylvain Chomet, and Ludwig Bemelmans, but also from Marjane Satrapi! I'm pretty happy with the decision to simplify the sleeves, because of animation, and because it adds a little something.
! Yeah, do it!! Can you work something like that into the designs of your little girls? Or the paintings, if you're not done them already? I like it, good stuff.
