I decided to take out my dusty old paints for the winter art show we're having at work! My original idea was completely different, and then out of nowhere I decided to paint a barn owl. We had an old Larousse dictionary with lots of what I though were creepy pictures in it back before I even knew how to read. Including this guy. L'effraie des clochers. I used to think it was the scariest ghost of a demon bird ever. I'm okay with them now.
This is a great owl, Melanie. Tons of character, and the square-ish shape is too cool.
